Things have been pleasantly busy lately. We've been trying to keep up with the local music scene, but it's almost too much for us! We saw moe. and Umphrey's McGee a couple of weeks ago in Kansas City, and they were both pretty good. This past weekend, we went to Wakarusa in Lawrence, which was pretty awesome. Wakarusa is a big music/camping festival out at Clinton Lake; they bring in about 70 bands, and you camp for four days and try to see as many as you can. We saw the Flaming Lips, Railroad Earth, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, the Disco Buscuits, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, and some more. They were all pretty damn good. Wakarusa came to a close on Sunday, the same day that Dad, Susan, and Louis got to Lawrence! It was so nice getting to see them. :-)
