Ceci and I went to the park this afternoon to celebrate the first weekend of the year with 50+ degree temperatures! Yay! It felt so nice to be able to go outside for awhile. :-)
So, our big news is that Ceci has finally started walking!!! Earlier this week, she went from not taking a single step - or even standing by herself unsupported - to pretty much running. We were flabbergasted. And very, very happy. Beyond the fact that this has come pretty late for her (and therefore, a sense of relief for us now), we're just so happy that she'll be able to keep up better with her playmates. Plus, she was getting darn heavy, and my arms (and back) are mighty grateful. The best part - when she walks, she laughs uncontrollably. She is clearly having a GREAT time on her feet. :-)
