Things that matter.

One of the reasons I resort to posting so many gosh-darn photos on this blog is because when I start writing during the busyness of the fall semester, it invariably degrades into me talking about how gosh-darn busy it is.  I don't want to be that person.  Unfortunately, it just so has turned out that I am.  And in all honesty, I have come to grips with the fact that because I love what I do at work, this is just the way life is going to be for stretches.  But, at the height of the "crazies", things get stressful and communicating that helps me.  When I step back, I know that it is worth it.  Aaron and I both love our careers, and the things that we do at our jobs matter.

Speaking of things that matter, Ceci is doing great.  She turned 4 years old this August and is very bit as much a firecracker as ever.  She may look like Aaron and I, but we cannot figure out where the rest of her came from.  The girl has more sass than anyone I have ever met.  She is doing great in preschool, and we are trying to figure out whether she should go to kindergarten next fall, or the fall after - it's a tough decision given her August birthday... she'll either be the very youngest or oldest in her class.
